The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Global Head of Lending & Strategy who will help with establishing our working capital and lending program for our merchants. We want to use your expertise and passion for the fintech space to build market-leading solutions in the Lending, Credit and Alternative Finance space while democratizing finance.

As the Head of Lending & Strategy, you will be responsible for Pay.com’s growth in digital lending by managing key partnerships, developing and operating existing and new products and setting the strategic roadmap for our lending business for our merchants. You will be a key leader in the lending business and be reporting to the executive team. 



  • Setting and executing business growth strategies within lending that focus on differentiated offerings to uniquely serve the needs of our merchants 
  • Lead and Partner with marketing, digital, tech, operations teams to optimize credit/lending usage within our expanding ecosystem
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with new and existing partners by understanding and evaluating their products and capabilities while actively managing the portfolio performance of the programs
  • Deliver customer, operational, and financial metrics for existing and newly established business lines and set & achieve annual operating performance objectives
  • Operating with excellence – Set an example in managing KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others



  • BA or MBA in Finance, or any other relevant field 
  • Extensive management or credit/risk experience in financial services, banking, or consumer lending, or innovation consulting experience in consumer financial services
  • Experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base
  • Experience in financial services
  • Ability to develop solutions and courses of action and recommend solutions by using an information base to identify key issues
  • Ability to recognize and implement business strategies to drive profitable growth, customer acquisition, customer experience and sales productivity
  • Negotiation skills – exploring opportunities with a view to mutual benefit and acceptance
  • Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and organization skills
  • Team player 


  • Proven ability to lead and work within a high growth startup environment to optimize
  • Strong understanding of payments including acquiring, gateway and alternative method of payments
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams
  • Experience with consumer auto credit or other consumer lending is preferred
